Lived in Philly: Since 2001 when she moved here to attend Drexel University. Philly is her favorite city on the planet. While at Drexel getting a degree in business, she received her AFAA fitness certification and taught cardio dance at the DAC. With extensive dance training since the age of 3 all the way to being a Philadelphia Soul Dancer, Stephanie has an attention to form and body awareness like no other.
Prior to opening Sculpt: Stephanie was a biotech/medical device sales representative for 10 years
Favorite Move: Skater and every oblique move
When I'm not in the studio: You can find me out in the city with my husband or my girlfriends having dinner and drinks. Or getting my sweat on at other studios
Sarah DePre - Director of training
Hometown: South Philly For Life
Lived in Philly: Always. Sarah grew up dancing at various places throughout the city and that is where her love for movement began.
Prior to Sculpt: Sarah trained extensively in Pilates including a 700 hour program and taught mixed apparatus classes (including Mat, Tower, Reformer, Wunda Chair, and Cadillac) in both group and individual sessions at the Daskalakis Athletic Center. In 2014 Sarah became a Power Pilates certified Mat teacher studying under Karen Pecarsky and her daughter Jillian Davidson. ***In addition to her fitness training, Sarah also has a Masters Degree in Dance/Movement Therapy from Drexel University.

Lived in Philly: 4 years
Prior to Sculpt: First Ari found Pilates, then she found the Megaformer, then she found her home at Sculpt. Ari was one of the first clients through our doors opening weekend and made the (fast) transition to instructor in November 2015.
Favorite Move: Standing Inner Thigh and Hamstring Curls(DUH)

Lived in Philly: 6 years
Prior to Sculpt: Jennifer engaged in all things fitness that the city has to offer, including run clubs like November Project, hiking at the Wissahickon, and testing out every class she can find.
Favorite Move: Newspaper
When I'm not in the studio: I'm an Oncology Nurse at Penn.
Hometown: Lynchburg, VA
Lived in Philly: 1.5 years
Prior to Sculpt: Nanci taught yoga since 2011 and managed/opened new studios for a company, she's also taught at Flywheel since January 2016
Favorite Move: Saw! (Twisted & Regular!)
When I'm not in the studio: I'm hanging out with my dog, exploring the city or other areas/cities, doing yoga, riding a bike!
Hometown: Fairfield, CT
Lived in Philly: 6 years
Prior to Sculpt: Maggie was a social worker in a shelter for men experiencing homelessness and was teaching yoga after work. She started teaching yoga full time in July 2016 and quickly found SFS after that. She became a client and then a front desk assistant and then an instructor! She currently teaches at SFS, several yoga studios, and coach yoga teacher training at CorePower Yoga.
Favorite Move: Plank to pike
When I'm not in the studio: If the sun is out I'm probably soaking it in with my Chiweenie Hudson. I love to go around town with him, and he has also traveled with me to Puerto Rico, Miami, Vermont and more!
Hometown: Philadelphia, PA
Prior to Sculpt: Evan has been a personal trainer for over 9 years. His resume includes being the Co-Founder of the Philadelphia Bar League, Philly’s competitive calisthenics team. He is also a champion calisthenics athlete.
When I'm not in the studio: I'm working on expanding the Philadelphia Bar League and getting my bar park opened this Fall.
His Classes: Evan likes to really focus his classes on mastering the basics. He loves plank based positions which come from his calisthenics background and insane upper body strength. Paying attention to details of your technique to maximize your megaformer workout!
Hometown: Haverford, PA
Lived in Philly: Since 2012. After attending college in DC, she moved back into Center City where she's lived ever since.
Prior to Sculpt: Sam attended law school at the University of Pennsylvania and worked at a large, international law firm here in Philadelphia before joining the sculpt team.
Favorite Move: Side Plank with thread the needle. It's all about the obliques!
When I'm not in the studio: You can find me shopping at the Rittenhouse farmers' market, cooking up a storm in my kitchen, walking along the Schuylkill River Trail with my friends, or watching movies with my husband.
Prior to Sculpt: In 2007 Tal became a Penn State Fitness Instructor as an undergrad student and has been teaching fitness ever since! For the past ten years, Tal has taught various group fitness classes and formats in the Philadelphia region including indoor cycling, circuit, step, water aerobics, kickboxing, muscle conditioning, yoga and now Sculpt! In addition to teaching fitness part time, Tal was an elementary reading teacher in Philadelphia for the past seven years. She recently left the position to pursue her passion of fitness full time.
Favorite Move: either reverse single sided bear or reverse side lunge to escalator lunge so expect to see those moves in many of her sequences!
When I'm Not At The Studio: Tal is also a Ph.D student of literacy education at Temple University and currently writing her dissertation. When she is not teaching fitness, Tal is training for triathlons. She has competed in over fifteen triathlons and is currently training for her first half ironman. She also enjoys traveling with her husband and snuggling with her boxer lab Rocky! Tal is so excited to be a part of the SFS community and looks forward to meeting many of you in her classes!
